Christian Senkpiel is the founding director of the studio. He was born in Sweden, raised in Norway and Canada, educated in Scotland and is firmly based in the international hub of London. Our designs, always steeped in the Scandinavian tradition, are never modern, never historic, always appropriate, humble - even when loud - fully embracing of the British sartorial tradition. Focused on natural materials and environmentally concious design - we helped pioneer the introduction of the ultra low energy Passivhaus standard to the UK. We have produced award winning projects on all scales, and seek to bring out the beauty, in the small, the big, the everyday and the exceptional.
